
Description
In early 2014, IDCO was registered as a center of strategic studies, researches and development by the Palestinian Ministry of Information in Ramallah, with its mission to stimulate community's improvement and development as one of the most outstanding careers serving generations and their resources.
IDCO are prioritizing interventions and projects for the coming three years into four main categories which form the IDCO’s endorsed strategy as follow:
- Contribute to the promotion of community reconciliation and unity.
- Strengthen capacities of the developmental sectors.
- Effective participation in the community development issues specially for women and Youth.
- Support the IDCO’s Sustainable Role and Impacts.
Vision
IDCO philosophy is adopting a multi-developmental programs aiming at contribute in solving the community's challenges, especially, the challenges related to community development, sustainability, food security, health, advocacy and environment conservation. IDCO will seek to achieve these programs through the implementation of consultancies, studies, researches, activities and projects as well as to stimulate positive community's initiatives.

Values that IDCO believes in:
- Commitment: IDCO pays efforts to enhance living standards of Palestinians. Dedication from all IDCO staff and volunteers to achieve this goal is mandatory.
- Independency: IDCO provides a platform through which staff/members could mutually reach an agreement on opinions. It has a non-biased management that helps those members to achieve the goals.
- Partnership: IDCO belongs to the Palestinian NGO community, promotes for cooperation and coordination in different domains, and establishes relations with other NGOs based on mutual understanding and respect of privacy and independency of each party.
- Equality: IDCO commits to promote for full and equal participation from all parties (including women) in the development process. The centre commits to create a balance between men and women at work.
- Diversity: IDCO respects and considers different approaches to achieve results; consequently, the management selects employees from a wide geographical range and regardless of their political views.
- Unity: IDCO believes in the necessity of the group work. The management entirely accepts to carry out the decisions taken by the upper and HQ levels .
- Transparency: IDCO considers well defined procedures and clear information.
- Justice: IDCO applies equal standards with all employees and service recipients in a subjective and non-biased way.
- Integrity and honesty: IDCO members and employees are trustworthy and could be counted on.
- Teamwork culture: IDCO members and employees cooperate to achieve the goals and respect each other’s opinions.
